The goal is to introduce and develop a basic understanding of art in a fun environment using different techniques and types of mediums, such as pencil, pastel, watercolor and acrylic. Kids can experience the magic of colors, pencil shading and learn how to create beautiful paintings and sketches with ease and different . Students will create work from observation and imagination and receive instruction based on their own skill level.
The theme is posted for each week with some pictures. Kids can choose to focus on sketching, pencil shading or using different type of colors. The pictures are for reference only, we are open for creativity and going beyond references. Student will select one of the art either from the list below or something else within the weekly theme to get step by step instructions to complete the artwork to take that home.
